London: Konkani hit movie, Ek Aslyar Ek Na, premier show at Harrow Safari Cinema on Jul 3

London, 12 Jun 2016: After successful shows across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and with the shows booked for Qatar and Sharjah, ‘Ek Aslyar Ek Na,’ the much-hyped Konkani movie is all set for the release in London on Sunday July 3, with the very best team ’Konkani Kutam London, whose members are vigorously working towards the success of the movie in London too. 

  

The show is booked in Harrow Safari Cinema, Station Road, Harrow, HA1 2TU, UK on Sunday July 3 at 1.30pm (though the gates will open at 1.00pm sharp). It will be first come first serve basis and the organizers have requested the Konkani movie-lovers to arrive soon and grab their seats as there is great demand and the show is going to be houseful as was in other places released so far. All the Members of Konkani Kutam London who have earlier presented several successful shows in UK are enthusiastically working with like-minded community members towards the success of this movie too, with all their combined effort.

 

Producer Frank Fernandes with his team comprising artistes of Dubai in the movie will be flying to London for this special show and the necessary formalities are in process. Producer Frank is very much confident that all the Konkani-speaking residents of UK will come in large numbers showing solidarity to their mother tongue.  This is believed to be a first time Konkani big budget movie getting released in UK before the release in home country and the speculation is this will create a history by itself.

 

With growing demand for additional shows of ’Ek Aslyar Ek Na’ are planned in Dubai, Sharjah and elsewhere in the GCC which will be announced soon. 

 

 

 

 

 

Ek Aslyar Ek Na, is Pradeep Barboza’s first Konkani film for which he has written the story and dialogues too. A well known personality in Konkani circles he has vast experience in several Konkani successful plays and has also played the lead role in the Movie.   Very promising and upcoming beautiful actress Priya Menezes has played the lead female role. Some of the artistes include ‘Memory’ Fame Richard Sequeira, Jerald Moras and Melyyn D Almeida famous Comedy Trio of Konkani, John D’Silva who is already famous with Goan cinema, Deepak Paladka of ’Nirel’ and ’Dhand’ Tulu movie fame, Alwyn Danty, Lucy Aranha Kuwait, Lavina Gomes of Dubai, Godwin Castelino lead the comedy part, versatile actors Alphonse D’Souza Moodubelle, Claude D Leema  Shirva,  Andrew Master Paladka, Gladys Hospet, Rons London, Joseph Mathias, Clara Rodrigues Abu Dhabi, Lu, Shawn Mangalore, Rohan, Prafulla and many others amateur aspiring actors.  On the whole ’Ek Aslyar Ek Na’ is a complete entertainment package for viewers worth watching, ever made in Konkani so far.

 

The technical team comprise ’Savari 2’ Kannada movie fame D Shashikumar who has provided the cinematography, music by Vanil Veigas, lyrics by Wilson Kateel, singers Prajoth D’Sa, Ashwin D’Costa, Priya Menezes, Jyothsna Roshan and Anjana Padmanabhan, co-direction by Stany Bela and Kishore Moodbidri while edited is done by awarding winning editor of Chandikori fame Sujith Nayak. Stunts by famous Kannada action director Mass Madha while Choreography by Akul, Girish and Rajesh Brahmavar. Alphonse Moodbelle and Rajesh Kudla have given their best as production-in-charge. Duo Shodhan Prasad and Deepak Paladka are taking care of all marketing activities of the movie supported by Ranjith Bajpe the director of Tulu movies.
