Mangaluru: Helpage India distributes survival-kits to elderly @ Prashant Nivas Old Age Home

Mangaluru, 04 Jul 2021: Helpage - as the word itself indicates us, it helps the aged, since its inception. Helpage is tries to ease the life of the aged people. Thus it works for the elderly in various ways. It intervenes in the difficult conditions, where the elderly are facing, be it individual or the societal. Thus it takes keen interest in providing a little comfort in the evening of the life of people. So, the Helpage in for and wide works in vulnerable situations.
Today due to Covid-19 pandemic, people are facing the problem of livelihood and are unable to feed themselves, as there is lack of job, due to lock down and suffering. The elderly are the people who are most neglected sector in the society. So, the Helpage has come forward to ease the life of the elderly by providing them food kits, by which they will get a little bit of comfort and also they would feel that there is someone who thinks about these people.
The Helpage all over India works to provide food for the elderly in the old-age homes and in the elderly in their own homes. The Helpage Bengaluru has been always kind enough to provide some help or the other to the residents of St Joseph Prashanth Niva, Jeppu, Mangaluru and also the Spandana Trust, Jeppu, Mangaluru wherever and whenever possible. During this pandemic time, where the people face lots of problems and especially the elderly are the victims of this. At this situation, Procter & Gamble (P&G) and Helpage Bengaluru has come forward to provide food-kits to the people of St Joseph Prashanth Nivas and the elderly of the locality of Jeppu.
