To supplement Muddu s underlying theme in this beautiful poem, I want to introduce BV readers to a journalist with a cause: Kavita Kannan Chandra here: http://in.news.yahoo.com/blogs/purplecorner/-1-man--1-rupee--1-check-dam.html You can access http://www.theweekendleader.com/index.php and read several stories on how crusaders, no matter how weak and powerless they may be, can transform lives. In our villages, not too long ago, we were very co-operative, a concept tossed out today. Selfishness and politics has given birth to a river in our hearts, that needs a bridge. You may also Google a word UBUNTU and read up on Bishop Tutu stories extolling the virtues of UBUNTU, which we need to bring back in our lives. Lat week I was in US and I witnessed how local communities team up and create self-help groups. One of my professional associate serves as community electrician while another as community plumber, after his work, needless to say about community soup moms and so on.. | |

Is it just a coincidence that we have a link to Muddu s recitation of Bridge (Sanke, Sanko)or there is an intentional link to muddy slush-pool in front of church? Just wondering innocently, no cocky tongue-in cheek message please..:D |
