Udupi: LCI - Moodubelle new office bearers inducted

Udupi, 22 Jul 2014: The installation ceremony of new office bearers at Lions Club International (LCI) - Moodubelle, here was held on Saturday July 19, in the presence of guests and dignitaries.

 
LCI – Moodubelle former president Alwyn Patrick Patrao conducted the installation ceremony.

 
Speaking on the occasion, Patrao conveyed his best wishes to the new office bearers and wished LCI - Moodubelle reaches great heights under the leadership of its new president Elias Lobo and make achievements through selfless services and become the best Club in Udupi district.

 
Appreciating the services LCI - Moodubelle rendered to the society since the last 17 years in and around Moodubelle Patrao said that this club in Moodubelle is one among the top 2 – 3 Clubs in the district that has well equipped building facility. Gerald Fernandes introduced the dignitaries.

 
Wilfred R D’Souza said that a sapling that he had planted 17 years ago has now grown into a large tree and many people are benefitted from LCI – Moodubelle. D’Souza said that he shall continue to extend his helping hand to this club.
 

The outgoing president Vinod Castelino thanked for the cooperation everyone extended since the past one year during his tenure.

 
The new president Elias Lobo said that there are many programmes planned for the year ahead and urged everyone’s cooperation in fulfilling them.

 

 

The treasurer Rajendra Shetty LCI zonal chairman M P Mohan and others were present on the occasion.

 
Leo Joy Fernandes led the prayers. The secretary Devdas Hebbar proposed vote of thanks.  Lilly Lobo compered the programme. The programme concluded with the national anthem.
