Kundapur, 25 May 2014: She was a ten-year-old girl who was orphaned along with her 2 brothers, but found succor in Spoorthidhama Rehabilitaiton Centre, Kedoor. Since then, Spoorthidhama chief functionary Dr Keshav Koteshwar became foster father for her and her and her two younger brothers.
Dr Keshav admitted all of them to study at Government Higher Primary School, Kedoor, near here. Her brother Suraj is studying II B A at Bhandarkar’s College, her. Another brother Sudarshan is employed in a restaurant at Mangalroe after completing II PUC. Suprita is caring for the inmates at Spoorthidhama after II PUC.
Meanwhile, a youngster Raghavendra, a native of B C Road, Bantwal who arrived at Spoorthidhama expressed his desire to wed Suprita and it seemed their chemistry worked for them. He sought approval of Dr Keshav who readily agreed after verifying the credentials of Raghavendra. Accordingly, both Raghavendra and Suprita tied the wedding knot at Spoorthidhama itself, near here on Friday May 23 in a nuptial ceremony by the priest.
Raghavendra is an educated youth, worked hard throughout his life, to own a house and automobile. He will give better life to Suprita who grew up in Spoorthidhama, says Dr Keshav who deserves to be commended for his humanitarian deeds.
