Dubai: Karaval Milan celebrates Monti Fest

Dubai, 30 September 2010: Karaval Milan – Dubai an association consisting of 19 Parishes from Kallianpur and Kundapur Varado had always believed in unity which is their main strength of existence. It’s only because of UNITY, whatever steps taken or the Programme’s organized always Karaval Milan has emerged winner. No doubt Almighy Lord and Mother Mary has blessed Karaval Milan abundantly. For thanking almighty and Mother Mary Karaval Milan members along with their families had gathered to celebrate the Feast of Nativity in Dubai at Mr Naveen Sequira’s residence on 23rd September.
Programme has started at 08.00 Pm with a warm welcome from Karaval Milan Vice President Mr Clarence Fernandes, Thottam. Immediately after secretary Mr Pius James D Souza has taken over the stage for the prayer service. All the childrens entered in procession to offer the flowers to Mother Mary. Traditional hymns like “Sakka Sangatha Melyan” and “Moriyek Hogolsiyan” were sung by the gathering. Childrens offered the flowers to Mother Mary.
Exciting games were conducted by Mr Stany D Cunha for childrens and elders. Prizes were distributed to the winners. Visiting elders Mrs. Alice Sequeira and Mrs. Severine Almeida were honored in this occasion. New wedded couple Mr. and Mrs. Prakash Rebello was congratulated and wished them all the best in their future life.
Mind blowing music by new sensation in Konkani Music Ms Goldina D Souza kept the audience busy in dancing under the guidance of veteran Rony Nazareth Byndoor. Melodious songs were sung by Rony Byndoor, Mr Glen Mendonca and Mrs Gretta D Souza to the tune of Ms Goldina D Souza. Multi talented member, Mr. Lawrence sung many wonderful hindi songs and also performed mind blowing mimicry.
Authentic and Traditional food was served which was prepared by Karaval Milan members.
Treasurer Mr Ronald Nazareth Byndoor proposed vote of thanks. Mr Pius James D Souza compered the entire programme.
