Digvijaya Singh confirms having extra-marital affair with Rajya Sabha TV anchor Amrita Rai

New Delhi, 01 May 2014 (Dailybhaskar): Digvijaya Singh, senior congress leader, has accepted having an extra-marital affair with television news anchor Amrita Rai. Recently, media has been abuzz with the news of this affair, but now Digvijay has accepted this affair on Twitter. Now, this is sure to create problems for the Congress party and Digvijay Singh who raised a hue and cry over BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s marriage with  Jashodaben. Digvijay had accused Modi of ignoring his wife. But, now he has a lot of explanations to do.

 

 

 

Amrita Rai is senior anchor in Rajya Sabha TV married to Anand Pradhan. Now Digvijaya opponents are asking: Did Digvijaya Singh used his personal political contacts to force Rajaya Sabha Television reporter Amrita to get into this relationship?

 

Digvijay Singh’s wife Asha Singh, 58, had passed away on February 27 at a hospital in New Delhi after battling cancer for several years.

 

Amrita Rai, meanwhile, also confirmed her separation from her husband. She added that she would later marry Digvijay Singh.
