ADIS Alumni Meet Held at Abu Dhabi Indian School Main Hall on April 11

WHEN PASSION MEETS SOCIAL MEDIA, MAGIC HAPPENS

Abudhabi, 17 April 2014: More than 25 batches of Abu Dhabi’s largest school for the Indian community spread across more than three decades brought together for the first time ever in the history of the school on 11 April 2014 in Abu Dhabi - using the power of social media.

 

One Facebook group. One event page. And a few good men and women for whom impossible is... nothing. All alumni of one school - Abu Dhabi Indian School.

Remembering olden days of student life everybody enjoyed the event.Especially Three teachers who were spoke there olden memories was mesmerized the event, remembering tapping a Dhs.1 Coin for hot samosa in the canteen, guy behind this who was preparing all years was honored on the occasion.

 

Event special was the couples, who studied in ADIS was called to the dais and lucky gift was given to them.

 

 

More than 300 people from 39 years of a school’s history, many travelling from as far as Singapore and Sydney, reconnected through a highly focused and strategic effort in social media and took the first historic step in forming what could possibly be one of the largest and most influential alumni networks in the UAE.

 

Before concluding the programme a same ADIS Canteen special  Samosa with chatni & sause with tea served to everybody.
