Udupi, 27 Mar 2014: After being a successful photographer, Anil Alva of Moodubelle has ventured into producing “Badk”, a short Tele-film under the banner of KK Productions, Moodubelle. The mohoorath of the Tele-film was held in front of St. Lawrence Shrine on Tuesday, 25 March 2014 in the morning.
The inauguration of the shooting was done by Prakash Suvarna Katapadi an eminent reporter and producer of prize winning Tele-films by switching on the camera.
Speaking at this occasion, Prakash katapadi said that producing such Tele-films would give good opportunity to the young talent in the villages and wished well to the KK Productions, Moodubelle.
Rev.Fr.Joswey Fernandes, parish priest of St. Lawrence Church blessed the project. Rev. Fr. Paul Sequeira in his message wished well to the Tele-film Unit for their venture to produce such a socially relevant film in Moodubelle.
“Badk”, the short Tulu film produced by Anil Alva will be presented at the ‘Karavali Utsava-2014’ to be organized by Disha Communications in which Tele-films in Kannadad, Tulu and Konkani languages depicting social problems would be accepted in the competition section.
The Tele-film is being directed by Prabhakar Acharya and the local actors portray the characters. Videography is being done by Sandeep and Jason Udupi. The Tele-film will be shot at locations in and around Moodubelle such as Hangarakatte, Gundupaade and Kattingeri.
