Moodubelle, 16 September 2010: As I was passing through K.M. Marg Udupi yesterday evening, I was delighted to see the Grand Ganesh Visarjan procession approaching from Jodukatte and was passing through Diana Circle. I had my camera with me which came handy in capturing some pictures.
The procession lead by Elephant, followed by sword warriors demonstrating their martial art skills, Tiger dancers performing tiger dance matching the beats of “Chande” who are just behind them, which followed by various performers and Tablos, with Chande drummers and finally the idol of Sri Ganesh (Pattada Ganapathi of Sri Krishna Mutt) in the procession. Huge crowd participated in the procession while crackers were being burst.

In this visarjan procession a pair of buffalos was in the lead, followed by various performers and dancers with a band. Follwed them were tiger dancers who got excited seeing my camera, provided me with some exclusive poses. The idol of decorated Sri Ganesh was at the end of the procession.
