Mangalore, 28 Jan 2014: Dakshina Kannada (DK) district youth JDS organized two-wheeler rally in the city on Monday January 27 afternoon, with the view of garnering support for JDS Yuvachetana Convention that is scheduled to be held at Palace grounds, Bangalore on Wednesday January 29. It is being oganized by state youth JDS, said DK district youth JDS president K Srinath Rai.
Addressing media persons at Hotel Woodlands here on Monday January 27 at 4.30pm, Srinath said that the people chose Congress in the last assembly elections, as they were fed up of BJP-led chaotic state administration. Meanwhile, the eight-month of CM Siddaramaiah’s state governance has been marred with corruption and accommodating tainted ministers in the cabinet, promoting AHINDA community’s welfare etc, added Srinath.
Srinath further said that JDS has bright chances as third front in the forthcoming parliamentary elections in the country. He urged large number of youth to partake in the Yuvachetana Convention in the state capital on Wednesday January 29, urged Srinath.
Mangalore south JDS president Akshit Suvarna, secretary Pavan Shetty, chief secretary Prasad, secretary Krishna Kumar, DK district youth JDS chief secretary Janardhan Bolpugudde and others were present at the media conference.
