M’lore: Swami Vishwavallaba of Kaniyoor Mutt accorded Grand Welcome in City

Mangalore, 2 Jan 2013: Swami Vishwavallaba of Kaniyoor mutt who will be enthroned as head of Pejavar mutt for 2-year-term during the Parayaya scheduled to be held in Udupi, on Saturday January 18 was accorded grand welcome when he arrived here on Wednesday January 1. 

 
A stage programme was held with Swami Vishwavallaba at Town Hall, here on Wednesday evening.

 
Dakshina Kannada district Kannada Sahitya Parishat president Raghavendra Rao presided the programme.

 

 
The state urban and Udupi district-in-charge minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, state health minister U T Khader, Mangalore south MLA J R Lobo, Mangalore MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLC Captain Ganesh Karnik, Monappa Bhandary, S L Shet, Ganesh Rao, Kalluraya, Prabhakar Shetty, Ashok Kumar D K and others were present.

 
Sudhakar Rao Pejavar compered the gathering.   Harikrishna Punaroor delivered the introductory address.
