Mumbai: Haldi Kunkum at Shri Durga Parameshwari Yakshagana Mandali, Sakinaka

Mumbai, 08 September 2010: A devotional singing and haldi Kunkum programme was organised by the Pooja Samiti Mahila members of the famous Shri Durga Parameshwari Yakshagana Mandali at the suburb of Mumbai, Sakinaka on Sunday, 5th September 2010. Hundreds of Tulu-kannadiga women from the local area and the surrounding regions enthusiastically participated in this programme.

 

Before the Haldi-Kunku programme a devotional singing programme was presented by Kum. Vandana Nityaprakash Shetty, Kum. Bhavyashree Shetty, Mrs. Jayalakshmi Devadiga and Mrs. Shantha. Nityaprakash N. Shetty played the .maddhale’.

 

 

The programme was attended by the chief priest of the temple-Kamalakshya Moily, Pooja Samiti president-Mohan Gujaran, Secretary-Balchandra Shetty, Treasurer-Suresh Marla, Vice President-Mrs. Roopa R. Shetty, Joint Secretary-Hema L. Kotian and Joint Treasurer-Prasad Shetty.
