Pius Nagar Welfare Committee Kuwait Celebrates Christmas Tree - 2013

Kuwait, 18 Dec 2013 : Pius Nagar Welfare Committee Kuwait (PWCK) Celebrated X’mas Tree at PWCK President house, Salmiyah here on Friday 13th December, 2013.

Celebration started at 8 pm with the prayer by Wilma Menezes. President Louis D’costa extended his warm welcome to all the parishioners.

After the X’mas cake cutting soft drinks and snacks served to all the family members.Number of games for children and adults were conducted during the event including X‘mas Quiz. Prizes were distributed to all the winners in different games. Santa entertained children and adults too.  X’mas carols sung by Freeda & Chorus. Keyboard played by Lorraine. 

 

Remy Fernandes red the Annual Report and Sunil Menezes red the Financial Report. P.W.C.K gave farewell to Mr.Hilary D’mello who is leaving Kuwait for good this month. He was a founder member of our committee. We wish him all the best and may god give him good health and peaceful life. 

After that the New Office-Bearers were elected for the year 2013-2014. The new committee consists of Richard Menezes (President), Praveen Menezes (Vice-President), Remy Fernandes (General Secretary), Naveen Lasrado(Joint-secretary), Vincent Menezes(Treasurer), Loyd D’costa & Dennis D’souza (Culturalal Secretary), Sunil Menezes & Roshan Quadras (P.R.O) & Louis D’costa (Honorable President).  Sunil Menezes thanked outgoing president & team for their dedicated contribution towards P.W.C.K for the last 1 year term and welcomed newly elected President & Team.

Richard Menezes proposed the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to all the members & fly who attended the X’mas get to gather and the sponsors who helped to make this x’mas event successful and memorable one.

Prayer was rendered by Priyanna. Delicious Dinner was served from Banana Leaf Restaurant, Salmiyah. The event was wonderfully compered by Sunil Menezes. The X’mas family gathering was concluded at 11pm.
