Manama/Bahrain, Nov 25, 2013 : On Friday November 22 was a bright day after a torrential rain and cold winds. Bellevision team were few among the thousands who experienced the joy of ‘Bahrain for All and All for Bahrain’ event held at the Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Park to promote peace ,solidarity and harmony in Bahrain, on the occasion of the birthday of His Highness Prince Khalifa , Prime Minister of State of Bahrain. Many organizations, several societies and community clubs took part in this historical event to showcase cultural dance performances to entertain people and try out the regional cuisine in their food stalls.
Bellevision buds Ashel Castelino, Crishel Sofia, Elroy, Shannel and Beula were compelling almost 15,000 crowd to dance on their feet by their Bollywood performances. It wouldn’t have been any better start to the programme where all multi-regional gathering tapped to the beats of Indian music. A fusion song composed by Aston and choreographed by Alfreeda, made the children to deliver the best on the stage where all witnessed Indian flag flying high with the concluding song Jai Ho.
The Bellevision stall was crowded with the customers to sip the hot tea in cold weather served by Judith Mendonca, Veera Martis, Ivan D’Souza and team to chase away the pinching cold breeze. The most busy person in the stall was Joel D’Sa at the popcorn corner. Raymond Kishore’s made sure kids had enough portions of all ingredients in his Hot Dog by applying his culinary techniques. Alfreeda, Arun Castelino, Rony Pinto, Hazel and Ashel were selling the most aromatic dish chicken sukka and chicken masala. While Neveen Mendonca , Arun fernades, Stevan Lobo, Nishanth, Ronald Alva choose to be support team for monitoring the smooth operation of the stall. Princy, Hilda D’sa, Preethi Pinto, Deepika Fernandes assisted them. Cake was the tastiest attraction of sale which was prepared and supplied by Judy and Naveen BAPCO.
Adleine D’Silva by her ‘Jabardast’ marketing skills added with her attractive smile and talk pulled the non Mangalorean and Bahraini nations to buy the Chicken Sukka , Neer Dosa, Chicken Masala and Idli without leaving back a bite.
All BV team members shared the responsibility to give a helping hand to make this event a successful one. Chicken Sukka was prepared by Hilda DSa, Alfreeda castelino and Shanthi- Ivan D’Souza. Chicken Curry was prepared by Anita- Steven Lobo. Hot Dogs were from the hot kitchen of Silvy- Raymond Kishore and Nirmala-Ivan Sequira.
Deepika-Arun, Marita-Baptist made sure Mangalorean authentic Idli and Panpole complimented chicken dishes. The brain behind this event Rony Norbert who brought Pop corn machine to the venue and Preethi Pinto took the charge of sauces, containers, plates, covering foils. Their logistics helped the entire team to sell the products in hygienic way.
Sunil D’Sa choose to sponsor Sun Top juices to the event. Lipton Tea in charge Sunil D’Sa and Rony Norbert made sure stall had enough stock of Tea till end of the event .The money matters were carefully handled by Vincent Martis and Godwin and the moments were captured by Ronald Fernandes.
At the end our president was a happy relaxed man to see all the proceedings went on smoothly adding one more feather in the cap of Bellevision success story.
The vision of H H Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has become the ethos of this cultural event. The first of its kind in Bahrain, organizers aim to host many similar events to bring communities within the country together to share their talent and culture.
The organizers expressed gratitude to the State of Bahrain and H H Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa for their keenness on the expatriates communities’ well-being and supportive stances.
