Mangalore, 16 Nov 2013: A Volkswagen saloon car plying from city railway station towards Attavar rammed into Hotel South India, here at about 4.25am on Saturday November 16.
It’s learned that the accident took place when the driver of the car suddenly applied brakes and veered to his right in order to avoid colliding with another vehicle. In the process, the driver lost control and the car fell off the side of the road, ramming into the hotel below.
All the six occupants in the car were injured who are identified as seventeen-year-old Mohammed Sadaf, sixteen-year-old Bazid, twenty-one-year-old Mohammed Tahsil and Azwad. Mohammed Sadaf, Bazid and Mohammed Tahsil were admnitted at Unity Hospital, here, while Tahsil lies in critical condition.
The car was fully in the accident.
Mangalore east police registered a case in this regard.
