Mangalore: 11th Rachana Awards on November 17

Mangalore, 31 Oct 2013: The prestigious 11th Rachana Awards will be conferred on five achievers on November 17, Sunday at Milagres Jubilee Hall.

 

 

Rohan Monteiro has bagged the Entrepreneur of the Year Award meanwhile Jacqueline Colaco will be awarded with Outstanding Woman of the Year Award. Agriculturist of the Year Award goes to Prof Edmund Frank. Professional of the Year Award goes to Dr Stanislaus F D’souza and NRI Entrepreneur of the Year Award will be given to Lawrence Mendonca.

 

Bishop of Mangalore Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza will preside over the ceremony. Oscar Fernandes, union minister for transport will be the chief guest. Dr Shantharam Shetty and MLA J R Lobo will be the guests of honour.
