Dubai, 30 Oct 2013: Members of St. Mary’s Konkan Community (SMKC) Dubai are all geared for the annual celebrations -"SMKC FAMILY FUN DAY 2013", a day filled with thrill and gifts galore on Friday, 8 November, 2013, Zabeel Park , Gate No .1, next to the BBQ area right end, from 9.00 AM onwards to 5.00 PM.
The most popular out door get together organized by renowned SMKC DUBAI have encompassed all possibilities for fun and excitement throughout the day. The tickets are in high demand and almost reaching the target of 500 counts. It is a day reserved not only for families with infant in their arms, young children or teens, but also for single or married bachelors / spinsters.
It will be a day to enjoy the warm and bright sunshine of the pleasant season and compete with each other to win prizes and gifts galore. Piped in music and warm up games begin early morning at 10.00 AM itself after a good breakfast served piping hot on the lush green grass of Zabeel park. Competitive sports for all ages starting from tiny toddlers to Senior Citizens, TEAM competitions, Spot Prizes, TAMBOLA , dancing sessions with scintillating music by well-known DJ Wendell are the chalked out programs of the day.
After lunch around 2.00 PM “FANCY DRESS COMPETITION for children between 2 - 16 years is planned along with the Costume Parade – “WORLD CITIZENS” for adults, children and teenagers.
Special commemoration of the forthcoming Indian calendar event “Childrens Day” will be marked on the lush ground. Children can be dressed up in a best possible way, ecofriendly themes or remarkable personalities or any other ideas under the sun.
The picnickers are also requested to bring and dress up at noon time not only their children but themselves in a most appealing costumes from home as “WORLD CITIZENS - say Mangalorean / Goan / Punjabi / Marati /Arabic / German / American / Moroccan / Norwegian… Couple or singularly dressed as Pirates or even Queens of the World or comedians as Charlie Chaplin. Live Konkani and world music will be played for the PARADE around the park arena.
All this fun and food is only priced at AED 20.00 per person and children above 4 + years will need a ticket too. Each ticket holder will be entitled for a befitting breakfast served between 9.30 am - 10.30 am only, delicious lunch and tea with light snacks to keep everyone energized and spirited the full day.
Note: As usual, ZABEEL PARK ENTRY PASS will be at one’s own expense and as per the DM park charges
