Moodubelle, 24 August 2010: As the festival of Ganeshotsav is fast approaching, the various sections and voluntary groups of Moodubelle joined together in the afternoon of Sunday, 22 August 2010 to offer ‘Shramadhan’ to clean up the interior and the surrounding space of the Geetha Mandir behind the Belle Grama Panchayat office where the Sarvajanik Ganeshotsava for three days will be held in the first week of September 2010.
Volunteers from Mahila and Yuvaka Mandalas, rickshaw, tempo and taxi owners and drivers as well as shop owners and members of the Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Gramabhivraddhi Yojane members participated in the ‘Shramadhan’. Along with the volunteers the office bearers of the Ganeshotsava Karyakari Samithi, President-Shivaram Salian, Vice President – Varadaraj Kamath and Secretary-Devdas Hebbar were present during the ‘Shramadhan’. Volunteers belonging to different communities participated in the ‘Shramadhan’ manifesting the communal harmony and unity among the villagers.
