Mangalore, 15 Sep 2013: Infant Mary parish, Katipalla, here and Health Concern Foundation India, along with Father Muller Medical College Hospital conducted a mega health camp at Infant Mary School premises here on Sunday September 15 morning.
Sushil Chandra, general manager, HRD and CSR, Mangalore Refineries and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) was the chief guest present.
Speaking on the occasion, Sushil Chandra praised the doctors of Father Muller Medical College Hospital for having come all the way to conduct the camp at Katipalla area. Sushil urged the people of Katipalla to take advantage of this service. Giving a touch on human understanding he asked the people to get in touch with the doctors when they face the smallest problem and not delay.
Father Muller Charitable Institutions PRO David introduced the camp and the facilities being offered at Fr Muller Hospital. He explained about the health card and how to take advantage of the facilities.
Infant Mary’s parish priest Fr Alwyn D’Cunha thanked Sushil Chandra for having come for the camp, he urged the people get their health screened, so that they could benefit from the camp.
Health Concern Foundation CEO Dr Edmond Fernandes invited service minded people of all age groups, caste and creed to join the organization to create a healthy world together.
Dr Erel Diaz, Professor and Head, department of surgery, Father Muller Hospital and liaison officer for the camp, Dr Smitha Bhat, Associate Professor of medicine, Dr Annie, department of OBG, Dr Habeen Khan, department of pediatrics, Dr Karen, department of orthopedics were other doctors present at the camp with their team.
