Moodubelle: National consumer day observed in St. Lawrence PU college

Moodubelle, 28 December 2009: The National Consumer Day was observed in St. Lawrence PU College, Moodubelle on Thursday, 24th December 2009 in the College Hall at 1.30 PM. Fr. Arun Mendonca presided over the programme. Besides students, members of the Consumer Club of Moodubelle were also present for the programme.

Mr. Harold D’Souza, Director of the Consumer Club explained the need of the Consumer Club and emphasised on various rights of the consumers. Fr. Arun Mendonca, in his presidential address explained the students the need to have consumer rights, the ways to assert these rights and the advantages of these rights to the consumers.

The members of the Consumer Club presented different entertainment programmes conveying the message of consumer awareness.

The programme was anchored by Meghna and the vote of thanks was proposed by the Consumer Club member, Mallika Shenoy. The programme ended at 3.30 PM with National Anthem.
