Udupi: Baby Cobra brings Traffic to Standstill; Rescued

Udupi, 09 Aug 2013: A baby cobra created chaos for an hour, when it sneaked into a parked motorcycle at Beedinagudde Road, here on Thursday August 8.

Meanwhile, a mechanic arrived at the spot, began dismantling one part after the other, while reptiles rescuer snake Gururaj Sanil managed to rescue the trapped cobra to the relief of general public. 

 

Mallesh, a native Beedinagudde, here has parked his motorcycle besides the road to fetch something from a nearby shop.  A baby cobra was crawling to cross the road, while motorists abruptly stopped vehicles to allow free crossing.  The baby cobra fearing safety sneaked into a motorcycle and everyone thought it was gone across.

Someone called snake Gururaj, who arrived with a mechanic.  When the mechanic was dismantling a few parts of the motorcycle as per the instructions of Gururaj, he located the cobra and managed to rescue and release in reserve forest.
