Mangalore, 08 Aug 2013: The Career Guidance and Placement Cell in association with Human Rights Cell of Government First Grade College, Haleyangadi organized a visit to Mulki Police Station on Wednesday, 7th August, 2013. Policemen at Mulki Police Station became teachers explaining the common police procedures. The students were informed about the functioning of the different wings of the Station. The Police Personnel Mr. Shivappa Gowda, Mr. M.R. Shetty, Mr. Kumara Pujara interacted with the students and showed various records maintained and weapons in the station.
The officers also briefed the students about the various posts in the police force and requested them to join the police force to serve the society. Students got their doubts clarified. The police officers also informed the students about the various Indian Penal codes for different offences. Students learnt many things from their visit. The Career Guidance and Placement Cell Coordinator Mr. Santhosh Pinto Shirthady & Coordinator of Human Rights Cell Mr. Sheenapa guided the students during their visit. Mr. Roopesh, an old student assisted in organizing the programme.
