Kundapur: Monsoon View, Arts Exhibition Inaugurated in City

Kundapur, 29 Jul 2013: Monsoon View, arts exhibition of landscapes during rainy season that was organized by Trivarna Kala Kendra in association with Rotary Club International (RCI) was inaugurated at Hotel Sharon auditorium, here on Saturday July 28.

Udupi Arts Foundation founder president artist Vasant Rao, after inaugurating Monsoon View, arts exhibition said that it’s an attempt by the artists to express their creativity on landscapes during the monsoon season.  It has distinct quality to express artist’s inner thoughts.  The art thrives wherein culture and religiousness confluences, said Vasant Rao.

 

Shiriyara Gopalakrishna Shetty presided the programme.

The entrepreneur Prashant Tolar, Gurukula Public School joint managing director Anupama S Shetty, Trivarna Kala Kendra advisor Harish Saga was present at the occasion.

A total of 40 paintings of 22 artists were put up for display at the exhibition that will be open for public viewing till Monday July 29 evening.
