Mangalore: City Police Seize 16 Trucks loaded with Sand meant for Illegal Supply

Mangalore, 26 Jul 2013: The city police led by Mangalore taluk Tahsildar seized 17 dumper trucks fully laden with sand meant for illegally transporting to Bangalore, at nearby mosque at Kannur, here on Friday July 26.

 

 
 
Mangalore rural police registered cases on owners of these trucks that are believed to supply each truck-load of sand for a hopping price of Rs 50,000.
