Udupi: Muhurat of ‘Lacchi’ Tulu Movie at Durgadevi Temple, Kunjarugiri on Jul 14

Udupi, 13 Jul 2013 : The muhurat of ‘Lacchi’ Tulu digital movie that will be produced by UNICEF Prasar Bharati national award winning group will be held at Durgadevi temple, Kunjarugiri, near here on Sunday July 14.

 

The Durgadevi temple managing trustee Rajendra Rao will offer the motion for the shooting of Lacchi at 10.00am on Sunday.

 

 

Madikeri based Bhavya M will be the heroine of movie – Lacchi

 

Katpady – Vijaya Solar managing director K Satyendra Pai will be the chief guest of the occasion.

 

Lacchi, movie will be directed by award winning young director Prakash Suvarna Katpady who has also penned its script.  Prakash Suvarna has directed films on child labour, naxalite issue and fisheries community.

 

Lacchi, movie is an attempt to create awareness among the youth on drug abuse and AIDS.

 

Francis D’Sa Shankarapura, who has produced Kannada movies, Hallimane, Akku, Guddadamane and most recently Bhagya will be the producer of Lacchi, Tulu movie.

 

Sandeep is the cameraman and Rohit Malpe is the music director of Lacchi.  Soumya is the assistant music director.  Ramesh Kidiyoor is the choreographer.

 

Madikeri based Bhavya M will be the heroine of movie – Lacchi.  The theater artistes Rajgopal Shet Udupi, Poornima Suresh, Satish Muttatti, Ravi Korangrapady, Harish Heroor, Niranjan Bekal, Sanvi Salian, Divya, Leelavati, Mallika, Nagesh Kamat, Sanjeev Suvarna, Rakesh Kunjoor, Suresh Yermal, Balakrishna Poojary, Bhaskar Manipal and others are cast in the movie.
