Dubai: Mangalore Konkans all Set for the “Vividh Vinodaval Spordho” – on Friday at JSS School

Dubai ,27 Jun 2013 :  As part of their Silver Jubilee Year Celebrations Mangalore Konkans Dubai –  UAE ‘s premier Konkani Organization will be holding their UAE  Level "Vividh Vinodaval Spordo" -  a group talent contest on Friday June 28 – 2013, 4.30 p.m onwards at the JSS School, behind Gulf News Office near Safa Park, Dubai.

As announced earlier, the innovative contest held for the first time comprising of Group Dances, Skits, Singing, Master of Ceremony etc is set to enthrall the UAE audience.  The contest will bring forth vast treasure of hidden talents among the young and old and showcase them during this exciting contest.

 

 

The contest has generated lot of interest and excitement among the Konkani lovers of UAE and Mangalore Konkans Dubai, is positive on its success.

The following 6 (six) groups would be participating in this electrifying challenge :

1) Konkan Bells
2) Cordelche Kalakar 
3) Uswas
4) Karavali Milan
5) Spark Dubai
6) Mogachi Lahran

All amateur artistes will show their immense talents and prove their superiority during this fun filled contest.

 

The ever laughter club of U.A.E. "Sangone mugdhana kalakar" will be providing rib-tickling comedy and entertain in between with their super comedy skits.  The scintillating dances from Feet Feat group will add spice to the cultural event .

Being talented alone is a boon, putting that talent to use and helping others through this talent shows the appreciation for that boon and is not less than any God given virtue.  Hence it is important that we support these talented people who are working hard to do their best to be the champions of this event. 

The contest will be judged by renowned and experienced panel of judges from all over UAE and Gulf.

Speaking to the media, James Mendonca the dynamic president expressed his views saying that “the response received from the contestants and the people of UAE is encouraging and we are positive that our efforts in promoting Konkani culture through this medium will bear fruitful results and we expect a full  house on Friday – June 28” he opinioned.

MANGALORE KONKANS DUBAI, noted for it’s commitment to keep the Konkani culture alive in the U.A.E. is geared up to give the best fun-filled evening at free of cost.

Also in between the contest, the stars of  Gulf Voice of Mangalore semi-finalists,  quiz master and Compere will continuously entertain the crowd with live performances. The organization of this event is in full swing, under the leadership of Arun Lobo.
