Udupi, 14 Jun 2013: State Bank of Mysore, Shirva branch, near here donated 10 ceiling fans to Manasa Special School and Rehabilitation Centre, Pamboor, near here on Thursday June 13. State Bank of Mysore is at the threshold of centenary celebrations which has set aside 1 percent of its annual income under social responsibility. Accordingly, the fans were donated to Manasa Centre. Earlier, State Bank of Mysore, Shirva branch donated a water cooler to their hostel.
State Bank of Mysore, Shirva branch senior manager Valerian Aranha handed over the fans to Manasa Centre chairperson Remedia D’Souza at the occasion.
Rotary district former assistant governor B Pundalika Marate was the chief guest.
Manasa Centre deputy chairman Alphonse D’Costa, trustees William Machado and Allen D’Souza, warden Vasanti, State Bank of Mysore, Shirva branch staff Asha K, Shyamraj and Ravi were present.
The student Elma staged welcome dance.
