United Kingdom, 28 July 2010: KCA UK had organized it’s annual picnic to Ullswater in Cambria on 24th July 2010. This year the spirit of the picnic began at Warrington, the journey started at 07:15 am picking up 4 families of KCA UK, the next stop was Manchester at 8.00 am, a second group consisting 15 more families joined the group to the onward joinery to Ullswater, at this stage, Mr. Santosh Pinto the president of KCA UK welcomed the group followed by the prayer.
In the morning the favouring weather boosted the picnic moods of the families. Breakfast was served, which kept the spirit and the enthusiasm of the picnic ongoing.
KCA UK had this picnic well planned; a visit was made by KCA UK management team prior to the schedule picnic, to help the arrangements of the picnic. This proposed study and planning done has created a lot of interest for the group to visit this place. The picnic was designed in two parts first visit to Aira Force Waterfalls, approximately 2 miles before Ullswater followed by camp at Ullswater. The enthusiastic families reached Aira Force Waterfalls at 10:45 am, here 4 more KCA UK families joined the picnic group, and this further enhanced the unity of KCA UK.
At this place whole of KCA UK had a happy family walk to the waterfalls, kids took maximum advantage of this spot by walking the hills and through the water.

At around 12.30 P.M. the group camped at Ullswater. Ullswater, England’s most beautiful lake, located in the Lake District National park in Cumbria Ullswater provides the ideal destination for holiday makers. It is England’s one of the largest lake and sits amidst the splendour of some of the finest fells in Lakeland. As the families were trying to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of Ullswater, KCA team members placed the marquee in the camping area. This gave a common point to meet for the families visiting other places. Delicious food for the entire group served at this time.
On completion of the delicious meal, various games for the adults and the children conducted by KCA UK members. Though the weather was not so favorable between 1.00 P.M. to 3.00 P.M. as we all know the ‘fortune favors the brave’ kids took advantage of the wind and enjoyed the kite flying and Ronald Lobo took all the kids for the joyous water play. As the weather settled at 3.00 P.M Santhosh Sequeira took charge of games and the whole group played the very famous Mangalorean rural games “Dog and the Bone” followed by “Lagori” (Now known as Indian Rugbi). The charming day further continued with the return journey at 5:00pm where everyone continued their singing in the bus, later cracking jokes and conversations
Mr. Santosh Pinto conveyed the vote of thanks. He thanked everyone for their active participations. It was noted during the picnic that every member of KCA UK has given their best to make this picnic a great success. It was just another fantastic day which everyone will surely remember.
