Udupi: Burglary Attempt Reported from Yermal Bada on NH 66

Udupi, 31 May 2013: The burglary in a house that is located in Yermal Bada on NH 66, near here was reported late on Wednesday May 29 night.

 

The burglars broke open the main door to gain entry inside the house that is owned by a certain Jagjeevan N Chowta located nearby filling station at Yermal Bada, searched for valuables in cupboards and almairahs.  They did not find any valuables because the house was occupied by Chowta’s driver and Chowta was living in his new house.

 

 

It may be recalled that the burglars had struck the same house about 5 – 6 months ago and decamped with silver and gold ornaments.  Padubidri police have not nabbed the burglars so far.

 

Meanwhile, Chowta is apprehensive over the second burglary attempt in one of the house that he owned.

 

Padubidri police registered a case in this regard and began the investigations.
