Dubai: Devadiga Sangha to celebrate Twenty First anniversary on June 7

Dubai, 28 May 2013 : Devadiga Sangha Dubai, U.A.E. announces its 21stanniversary celebrations on Friday 7th June 2013 at Deira Sheraton, Dubai. The event is to start from 10am onwardson an auspicious note of lighting the lamp followed by the stage program. 

 

To grace the occasion this year, Prof. B.S. Sherigara has been invited from back home as the Guest of Honour. He is the former Vice Chancellor of Kuvempu University and is a rare combination of scientific caliber of high order, sensible and genuinely concerned with the society. At a time when social conscience was found to be lacking in scientocrats and administrators, he was an individual totally committed to the betterment of society. He will be accompanied by his wife Smt. Jayashree Udupi. Few prominent guests from the Mumbai & Mangalore Sanghas will also be attending.

 

 

The day is to showcase lot of cultural programs by the members of the community. Dances, skits and songswill be the high lights of the day. Yaksha Mitraru is also to stage a hilarious comedy skit involving the members. Lot of attractive prizes is to be won through raffle draws

 

 

 

Felicitations to Mr. Ananda Devadiga– Advisor, a community veteran has been chosen on this great occasion for his service to the community. The guests and the sponsors of the show will also be felicitated.

 

With the help and support of sponsors, well-wishers and members the fundsgeneratedwill be given for the scholarship activities back home and also used for the benefit of community members here during  emergencies.
