Kundapaur, 28 Mar 2013: The city based Sangeet Bharati Trust will be organizing Pushkar Leele – Hindustani classical musical concert at Padmavati hall of Hotel Parijata here on Sunday April 7 at 6.00pm.
Pushkar Leele is a well known musician from Mumbai, while Bangalorean Vyasamurti Katti will assist Pushkar in harmonium and Mumbaikar Sanjay Deshpande will assist in tabla.
Pushkar Leele is a descendent of Pandit Kumar Gandarva lineage family and a renowned young musician. He has been trained by Pandit Vinayak Rao Patavardhan, Pandit Vasant Rao Deshpande, Pandit Jitendra Abhishekat, Pandit Vijay Koparkar, Pandit Vijay Sardeshmukh of Gwaliar, Pandit Satyasheela Deshpande and veteran musicians for nearly two decades.
He has been the recipient of scholarship from Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) to pursue studies in classical music. He is a Prasar Bharati graded All India Radio (AIR) artiste. He also served as artiste in ETV, Zee TV, World Space Radio etc.
He is the post graduate of Centre for Performing Arts in Pune. He is an accomplished musician with several awards to his credit.
He has staged musical concerts in continents of Australia, North America, Middle-eastern countries, south pacific countries, European countries.
He is the recipient of India Today – One of 35 Young Achievers Award, Alurkar Music House Award. He has released his CDs that are marketed by Ninaad Creations and Dreams Entertainment.
