Magical dance performance by Soorya India Festival @ ISC Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, 22 Mar 2013: Two wonder ladies provided a magical performance at the Soorya India Festival held at the India Social and Cultural Centre at Abu Dhabi on Wednesday night.

 

The Soorya Festival is held under the patronage of Padmashree Dr. B.R. Shetty (MD NMC Group) who is the Chief Patron and organized by U.A.E. exchange Centre Abu Dhabi under the leadership of Mr. Y. Sudhir Kumar Shetty, COO Global (U.A.E. Exchange).

 

The show began at 8.00pm sharp and concluded at 9:30pm providing the audience mesmerizing magical performances especially by Rama Vaidhyanathan with her super Bharathnatyam Dances and Rani Khannam with Khatak Dances and then there was jugal bandhi by both of them provided the total entertainment to the large number of audience present at the Soorya Festival.

 

 

Another magical artist Pralhad Acharya  performed magical shadows using his bare hands to provide unbelievable of world of light and shades what is called Speaking Shadows, where shadows come to light and weave stories and folklore – a ballet of hands and fingers emerging to create life on a white screen accompanied by musica and sound effects.  He received a huge round of applause for his super performance.

 

All the artists, including the conceiver of Soorya Festival Sri. Soorya Krishnamoorthy, were invited to the stage at the end of the program and were felicitated by Mr. Binay Shetty and Mr. Sudhir Kumar Shetty. A lucky draw was held for U.A.E. Exchange Centre gifts and Mr. Sudhir Kumar Shetty handed over the gits to the winners.

 

It was indeed another brilliant performance by Soorya Festival in Abu Dhabi.
