Kannada Koota Dubai organized successful picnic to Khorfakhan and Friday market

Dubai, 20 Feb 2013: On 15th Febraury kannada koota Dubai organized one day picnic to Khorfakhan and Friday market for Dubai and sharjah tour enthusiast kannadigas. Picking Dubai kannadigas bus departed from Indian consulate area at sharp 8:00 am and picked Sharjah kannadigas at 8:45 AM near city center area.

After having the  group breakfast near Sharjah national park, all the bus mates enjoyed melodious kannada singing from Mr. Gururaj, Mr. Uday Nanjappa, Mr. Sharath, Ms. Deepa, Mr. Abdul Razak and Ms. Shweta. Ms. Arathi Gatikar presented Hanigavana(short humorous poems)everybody got  involved in  anthaakshari and it took all tired and exhausted kannadigas from weeklong work to enthusiastic and energetic mood. Everyone in the bus re-lived their school trip days.

 

First the troop reached Friday market after some roundups bus moved towards beautiful beaches of Khorfkhan. Tides and water of the sea made everyone play and enjoy. Some adventurous people took Jet Ski and few tried Para sailing. Lunch was served by local hotel. After completing whole day picnic bus started towards Dubai in the evening.

This picnic was not limited to enjoyment only, all the kannadigas raised the fund and upheld the humanity to help Mr. Mohan’s father who is getting treated in Mysore.

This programme was coordinated by Mr.Sandeep vale with the help of kannada koota’s president Mr. Sadhan Das and members Mr. Mallikarjuna Gowda, Mr. Virendra babu, Mr. Aruna Muttugaar and Mrs. Uma Vidyadar.
