Inauguration and blessing of Parochial House of the Pernal Church

Pernal, 05 Feb 2013: The Parochial House of the Pernal Church was inaugurated and blessed on Saturday,  2 February 2013. Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo Inaugurated and blessed  the Parochial House  accompanied by Fr. Henry Mascarenhas, the Secretary of the Bishop.

 
Earlier,  the Parishioners along with Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Gregory Serrao, Parish Council Vice President, Mrs. Janet Lobo and Secretary Mr. Anthony Mendonca received the Bishop at 3-30 PM, followed by the inauguration and blessing of the house and Holy mass.

 

 
After the Holy Mass, Contractor Mohammed Kalid and Parish Council member Mr. Edward Gomes were felicitated  for their tireless and selfless supervisory work, and the donors who paid above 10,000/- were honored by the Bishop.

Parish Priest thanked all the parishioners and Donors, especially donors from other parishes for their generous donations and continuous support to the Parish of Pernal.

 
At the end, cold drinks and snack packets  were distributed to all. Parishioners were present in great numbers.
