Sakinaka-Mumbai: Free Notebooks distributed to needy students

Mumbai, 23 June 2010: As in the last year, this year also a free note-book distribution function for the needy students was organized on Sunday, 20th June 2010 at  Shri Durgaparameshwari temple by Mumbai Sakinaka based Sri Durgaparameshwari Kripaposhita Yakshagana Mandali.  Hundreds of needy students of local area including non tulu-kannadiga students took benefit of this social activity. Since last year, Mandali’s members have started this social activity by contributing  funds and  distributing free note-books to local area students under the Mandali’s banner.

The function of free distribution of note-books to the needy students  was attended by  Mandali’s Pradhan Archak-Kamalaksha Moily, Pooja Committee President - Mohan Gujaran, Vice President –Smt. Roopa R Shetty, Secretary- Balchandra Shetty, Treasurer-Suresh Marla, Joint Secretary- Smt. Hema L Kotian and senior Yakshagana Artists of theMandali- Manojkumar Hejmadi, Seetharamkumar, Prasad Shetty, Dayananda Rao Malla, Rajesh Moily and committee members. The local residents were also present in large number.
