Moodubelle, 23 June 2010: In the bright rain-free morning of Tuesday, 22nd June 2010 during the PU College-High School Assembly at 9.50 am, the newly elected College-School Pupil Leaders took the oath of office in front of the students and the staff members. Fr. Paul Sequeira, Principal of St. Lawrence Composite PU College, Moodubelle administered the oath of office to these student leaders.
The first to take the oath of office as the College Pupil Leader (CPL) was Kum. Deeksha of Second Year PU Arts, followed by Ivan Lobo of First Year PU Arts as Assistant College Pupil Leader (ACPL). For the High School, Kum. Vinaya R. Nayak of 10th B class took oath as the School Pupil Leader (SPL) and Karthik Bhat of 9th A class took oath as Assistant School Pupil Leader (ASPL).

Addressing the students, especially the student leaders of PU College and High School, Fr. Paul Sequeira congratulated them on their being elected as the student leaders. Further, he said that they have a greater responsibility as the student leaders and be an example to other students in carrying on their duties. He complimented Mr. Edward Larsen D’Souza, the Political Science lecturer and Mrs. Hilda Aranha for smoothly conducting the elections of the PU College and High School respectively on 19th June 2010.

Fr. Paul Sequeira also welcomed two new staff members who have joined the institution in this academic year by offering them flower bouquets. These new staff members are: Miss Seema D’Souza, Sociology lecturer and Miss Jacintha D’Souza, Librarian and Computer Instructor.
The oath taking programme was compeered by Vijay Poojary and the vote of thanks was proposed by Ivan Aranha.
