Karkal: Ranjita Poojary, Student of Belman Bags Gold in Budakan Int’l Karate Championship

Karkal, 31 Dec 2012: Ranjita Poojary, student of St Joseph’s High School, Belman, near here bagged gold in Kata division and bronze in Kumiti division in Budakan International Karate Championship 2012-13 held in New Delhi, from December 16 to December 17. The championship was organized in association with New Delhi Budakan Karate Association and All India Karate Federation at indoor stadium, New Delhi.

 

 

 
Ranjita Poojary also bagged third place in state level competitions under Kumiti division which was held in Udupi from December 22 to December 23.

 
Ranjita is the daughter of Ravi and Ramita Poojary, natives of Belman, near here.  Karate trainer Satish Poojary trained her for this marvelous feat.
