Padubelle: Confraternity Sunday Observed in Holy Cross Church, Pamboor

Padubelle, 10 Dec 2012: Confraternity Sunday was celebrated in the Holy Cross Church, Shanthipura-Pamboor on Sunday, December 09, 2012 in preparation for the upcoming annual feast to be celebrated on Wednesday, December 12.

 

The Solemn Mass began at 4:30 pm. Rev.Fr. Naveen D’Souza, Assistant Parish Priest of Shirva was the main celebrant along with Rev.Fr.Charles Lewis, the Parish Priest of Pamboor.

 

 

The Eucharist procession began following the end of the Holy Mass. The Eucharist was taken in procession to B.C. Road with hundreds of parishioners marching along with the musical band, choir and altar boys. A small prayer service was held at B.C. Road and the Eucharist was taken back to the Church in procession.

 

The Ceremony concluded in the church with Eucharistic blessings and by display of Fireworks. Hundreds of parishioners participated in the Confraternity Sunday ceremonies.
