Udupi, 16 June 2010: There has been an increase in the missing complaints registered in various police stations of the Udupi District. Recently two young girls, one from Perdoor and the other from Moodnidamboor were reported to have been missing.
Kumari Anusha, 19 years old daughter of Babu S Mendon, who had gone from the house informing her father that she would be going to the Perdoor Computer Class on 8th June 2010 at around 8 am has not yet returned home. Kumari Anusha’s father, Babu S Mendon has registered a missing complaint with the police. Kumari Anusha is 5 feet tall, medium built and slightly dark complexioned. While leaving the house, Kumari Anusha was wearing a gold ring and a steel case watch.

In another incident, Amitha, 21 years old sister of Manikanta residing at Bannanje, Moodanidamboor Village in Udupi Taluk has gone missing from 12th June 2010. On that day, at about 12 noon, Amitha tols her sister-in-law that she would be visiting her mother’s house at Doddannagudde. However, according to a FIR filed by Manikanta in the police station. Amitha had neither gone to her mother’s place at Doddnnagudde nor has returned home. Amitha is around 5 feet 2 inches tall and of wheatish complexion. While leaving the house, Amitha was wearing chudidhar. She speaks three languages-Kannada, Tulu and Hindi.
