Doha, 28 Oct 2012: Royal Mirage Perfumes hosted Indian playback sensation Shreya GhosHal’s Ive concert show at Al Ahli Stadium, Al Hilal, Doha-Qatar at 7.30 pm The programme ‘Shreya GhosHal live in Qatar’, was jointly organised by Rami Productions and Doha Waves, with the support of Planet Fashion and Royal Mirage perfumes.
The Doha programme was being held as part of a series of shows in the region. She is holding concerts in UAE and Oman also.
Shreya has sung several hit songs in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada, Assamese and Marathi. There is no award in Indian music that Ghosal has not won, making her one of the most sought after faces in India’s music industry. The winner of the National award on four occasions in less than a decade, and Filmfare Awards in different languages several times, Ghosal has appeal and acceptance that few others command in the industry.
His Highness Ambassador of India in Qatar Mr.Sanjeev Arora was present at the show with family. The organisers declared the show open on the dias along with the Indian ambassador.
Sri Gagan Mudgal of Radio 101 from Dubai, compered the grand show. Shreya presenting her musical programme for the third time in Doha-Qatar sung her own Hindi and Malayalam filmy songs, with some old classical melodies of her favourite the all time Legend Lata Mangeshkar. She also sung many songs as popular chole from the audience, which included both Hindi and Malayalam songs. Upcoming singer Prithvi presented the male lead songs for the duets as well as some solo numbers. Dancers from dubai presented some exciting Dance shows with Shreya’s singing.
There were two lucky winners from the audience, whose names were picked by Shreya from the box and one small girl was one among the lucky two who immediately came to receive her lucky prize. Shreya Ghoshal completely entertained many thousands of music lovers who had come specially to see Shreya Ghoshal perform live, and many of them for the very first time.
Shreya sung songs from her beginning films like Jism,Welcome to the recent Ek-tha-Tiger, and also included hit numbers from Hum dil De Chuke Sanam,Dabang, Rowdy Rathore, 3 Idiots etc.
