Mangalore: Never ending protest marches against attack on youth in Home Stay at Padil

Mangalore, 05 September 2012: It seems that the cauldron of protest against the attack on youth in Home Stay at Padil is being kept boiling by various groups and political parties which are keen in putting the BJP Government in the Karntaka state on mat. On Tuesday, September 4, 2012, local Congress and JD(S) leaders and hteir followers took out procession from the Jyothi Circle to Deputy Commissioner’s Office shouting slogans against the BJP Government.

 

 

In their speeches the Congress and JD(S) leaders blamed the government for lack of law and order in the state and criticized the police for not taking strict action against the culprits. They demanded that  the government should enact strict law against outfits such as  Hindu Jagran Vedike.

 

Congress District President Ramnath Rai, former JD(S) Minister Amarnath Shetty, Congress leader Ivan D’Souza, P.V. Mohan, Rita Noronha, Sushil Noronha and many  other well-known leaders and personalities participated in the rally.
