Moolanagadeva’s Prathishta Brahmakalashabhishekha At Kurkalu

Katapadi, 27 May 2010: The Prathishta Brahmakalashabhishekha at the Moolanagashtana of the Pai family of Katapadi near Kurkalu Kuledu was held with various religious and cultural rituals on Wednesday, 26th May 2010. Following the Brahmakalashabhishekha, Ashleshabali and public Annasantarpane was held in which a large number of people were served with food. These rituals were performed under the leadership of Vedamoorthy Narasimha Upadhyaya in the presence of the members of the Pai family.

Purushottma Satyendra Pai from the Pai family, Baburama Kamath, the Managing Trustee of Shri Venkataramana Temple of Katapadi and other important dignitaries were present for the function. In the evening religious assembly and cultural programmes were conducted. In the night after the Ranga Puje, Halittuseve was arranged following which Chatupavitra Nagamandalotsava was organised by Nagapatri Vedamoorthy Sagri Gopalakrishna samaga and Krishnaprasad Vaidya along with their group Damarumela of Maddhuru.
