Moodubelle: Scholarships distributed to needy students in Jnanaganga PU College

Moodubelle, 17 August 2012: Scholarships to needy students and endowment prizes were distributed in Jnanaganga PU College, Nellikatte in function held on August 15, 2012 at 11 am. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Ravindranath Shetty,  Saraswathi Clinic, Katapadi and former Governor of Lions District. U.L. Bhat, Principal of Jnanaganga PU College presided over the function. Dr. Rajeshwari Rao Koradkal was the chief guest. T.V. Rao, honorary president, Gopikrishna Rao, founder and presient, Suresh Shety, Treasurer, Prabhakar K.S. Convener and Prof. Dayananda Shety were present.

 

 

 Endowment prizes to 20 students from 10 different schools from Udupi Taluk were distributed each student receiving an amount of Rs.500/- Fifty three students of the members of  GIC Cooperative Limited were given scholarships amounting to Rs. 26,500/- and children of members of the GIC Cooperative who had passed away received an amount totaling Rs.69,300/-

 

Gopikrishna Rao welcomed the gathering; Kamalakshi Prakash compeered the programme and Prof. Dayanand Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.
