Moodubelle: Free Cycles distributed to Eighth Standard Students of St. Lawrence Kannada Medium HS

Moodubelle, 04 Aug 2012: The programme to distribute free cycles to the eighth standard students of St. Lawrence Kannada Medium High School, Moodubelle was organized on Friday, August 3, 2012 in the PU College Hall. The cycles were distributed by the Department of Public Instruction on behalf of the Government of Karnataka.

The chief guest of the programme was Mr. Lalaji R Mendon, MLA of Kaup.  Mr. Devdas Hebbar, President of Udupi Taluk Panchayat, Mrs. Ida Gibba D’Souza, member of the Udupi Zilla Panchayat  and Mrs. Jacintha Aranha, President of the Belle Grama Panchayat  were the guests of honour.

 

 

The programme was presided over by Rev. Fr. Paul Sequeira, Principal of St. Lawrence PU College. Mrs. Leena D’Silva compeered the programme, Mr. Herald D’Souza welcomed the gathering and Mrs. Hilda Aranha, Senior Teacher of St. Lawrence Kannada Medium High School proposed the vote of thanks.
