Mangalore: Interactive Meeting with Mrs. Orna Sagiv-Consul General of Israel

Mangalore, 01 August 2012: An Interactive Meeting with Mrs. Orna Sagiv, Consul General of Israel  from Consulate General of Israel, Mumbai was  held on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 5 pm at the Kanara Chamber of  Commerce and Industry Facilitation Centre Meeting Hall, Mangalore. Mrs. Orna Sagiv spoke on “20 Years of Indo-Israel Diplomatic Relations”.

 

 
Mrs. Orna Sagiv has been In India since 2008. She had served as diplomat in European and Asian countries. In her address, Mrs. Orna Sagiv spoke about the close diplomatic relation that exist between India and Israel. She pointed out how the two countries have been sharing information  regarding agriculture, Industry, water resources and their management.

 
Mrs. Orna Sagiv also highlighted the trade between the two countries and made special reference to the electronics industry. She also mentioned that a large number of  Indian tourists  visit the Holy Places in Israel. She mentioned about the common concerns between India and Israel regarding security, entrepreneurship, innovations, culture and democracy.
