Young Cavin Sequeria from Marne Killed in Air India Express Crash

Moodubelle, 22 May 2010: In the horrendous  crash of the Dubai-Mangalore Air India Express in the early morning of 22nd May 2010, the 16 year old young student from Marne, Cavin Sequeira, son of Charles and Benedicta Sequeira of St John the Baptist II Ward was tragically killed.

Cavin who was born on 1st November 1994 was a student of Vidyaniketan School at Kaup and  had just got his 10th standard CBSC results and was about to join the Pre University Course. He had gone to Dubai for holidays with his parents who are working in Dubai and was on his way back  home in the ill-fated Air India Express that overshot the runway and burst in flames killing most of the passengers and crew personnel. According to the reliable sources only 8 persons survived the crash.
