Kuwait, 29 April 2012: A perfectly organized program, professional dance judge, great humorous compere, neck to neck contesting dancers and super supporting audience was the secret recipe of the great success of "Dhoom Machale" which was judged perfectly and enjoyed thoroughly by the Kuwait audience. Indian Youth Society-Kuwait presented grand finale of "Dhoom Machale" Dance competition on April 27, 2012 at Cambridge School auditorium- Mangaf from 7.30 pm onwards.
’Dhoom Machale’ was a dance competition to bring out the dancing talent of Indians in Kuwait which was judged by the Bollywood dancing judge and choreographer ‘Dance India Dance’ fame Terence Lewis. Aman Verma, talented actor and anchor, was the compere of the day. The competition had different levels according to the age group of contestant such as junior, pre senior & senior for the age group between 8 to 17 years. A total of 21 individuals for solo and 13 groups were selected for finals by the local juries during the auditions held on April 14 at Carmel school auditorium.
The program started by formal welcome by president Shabbir Qamar followed by national anthem of Kuwait and India. Shabbir Qamar introduced the compere of the day popular Indian TV show anchor and actor Aman Verma who took the audience to a new world of entertainment with his fluent talks and unique humorous style. Aman started with his interaction with audience regarding various issues. Finally when the time came to introduce Judge of the day Terrence Lewis, the audience filled the hall with a loud voice and screams out of excitement. After formal talks, Terrence took his seat and the competitions started with solo dances for the categories junior, pre senior & senior.
After the solo competitions, the sponsors of the program along with supporter Vishal Goel, Indian Carnival/Fiesta organizer Prashanth D’Souza and Terence Lewis were invited to the dais and felicitated with flower bouquets. Dr. Sneh Lata Goel (Nuna Goel) thanked Indian Youth Society in her speech and wished for many more such programs. The sponsor’s choice best dancer award was given to Anusha Fernandes by Dr. Nuna Goel along with the cash prize. Terence Lewis and Aman Verma were felicitated with mementos.
After the felicitation group dance contests were organized. All the contestants did their best to entertain the audience and to impress the judge. Foot tapping dances were performed by Dancing Divas between the competitions which were choreographed by Jyoti Patel. Jyoti Patel, Dancing Divas and Wilson Saldanha were felicitated with Mementoes for their support to organize the show. The results of the competitions were as follows,

The Indian Youth Society was established by the initiative of a bunch of young Indians with the purpose of creating a youth revolution. The society has been successful in amassing wide popularity amongst the youth of Kuwait and in spreading the Indian Culture amongst the people of Kuwait. The IYS team is working with a vision of providing social & cultural work with quality entertainment for the Indian community. Today’s program was their first entertainment program which was widely appreciated by houseful audience. The tickets of the show were sold out a week ahead of the program due to the popularity of Terence Lewis among the young generation of Kuwait. Nearly 150 individuals and groups entries were judged during the audition which shows the tremendous response to the show. More than 120 dancers were performed for the finals. IYS has promised to continue such competitions during coming years to identify and bring the young talents to the stage.
