Futility of suffering verses Utility of suffering - Good Friday service at Mira Road

Mumbai, 07 April 2012: Good Friday service was observed at St. Joseph’s Parish grounds with devotion. There were two services at 5.45pm and 8.30 p.m respectively. Thousands of faithful participated in the liturgical service. The passion of our Lord was sung and Fr. Dominic Vas, the Parish Priest broke the Word of God. He spoke about the “Futility of suffering verses Utility of suffering”. Finally he said that if we put love in our suffering only then we come out victorious. The faithful participated in the service with devotion and venerated the Cross.
