Shirva, 09 March 2012: On the occasion of the reinstallation of the renovated Shree Vishnumurthy Temple in Shirva, the unforgettable exhibition of paintings by Paintings Teacher Lingappa Brahmavara and Students team of Shirva Hindhu Junior College were presented, which drew attention of the thousands of art lovers among the sea of devotees and the paintings were reflecting their talents.
The specialty is that, the emerging talents of students from 6th standard to PUC had drawn these paintings, which were not less than the senior painters and there was demand for more paintings from the viewers, which showed that the interest of art is still alive among the people. More than ten thousand art lovers viewed these paintings and hundreds of people registered their opinions in the book, which has inspired these artists.
The paintings varied from Nagavalli of Aptamitra movie to Mahatma (Gandhi) in tree, various postures of Yakshagana, Ayshwarya Rai, traditional women with jewellery, Bhoota Kola, Kambala, Cock fight, Deities, smile on the face of old woman, like this hundreds of paintings were liked by the viewers. Picture of Dr. V.S. Acharya was attractive.
As per the request of Temple Renovation Committee President Nityananda Hegde, the Hindu P.U. College Drawing Teacher Lingappa Brahmavara, College Principal s.V. Ganapathi Bhat, Rajgopal, G.R. Jagadish, Sudhama Shetty, Kumari Suchala, Kumari Ragini Bhat and along with them the High School students, teachers were present, which inspired the success of the painting exhibition. This painting exhibition during the renovated temple reinstallation celebrations is truly unforgettable one.
